Start the year with a Healthier Lifestyle!

Small lifestyle changes! The easiest changes to try are the ones that aren't noticeable at all to our habits. If you make lots of New Years resolution, make it simple like you know by yourself you can do it! I remember from one the seminars I've attended before about Leadership training, Setting Goals should be SMART:
  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Realistic
  • Timely
 I personally think it's also applicable for our personal goals.

We overlook some simple things we could easily try that would surely really help us be healthy and reach our goals. We could incorporate these simple steps in our daily activities that may have a great impact to our overall health.
  1. Drink plenty of water - cut your sodas, coffee, frappes!
  2. Our body is about 70% water, the brain is 90% water so in order for the body to function properly, it needs water! Start cutting your non-water drinks to 1 cup a day. I personally drink a lot of water before a meal, it would feel a bit tummy full before I eat - It's also my way to eat less. :D Whenever I drink soda, I'll drink water 3x the soda I finished.

  3. Get enough sleep and better manage stress
  4.  Sleep has a serious impact on how and what you think. Sleep regenerates our energy level, reduce stress and we won’t fall sick often. Sleep loss affects your ability to make good decisions and puts you on edge, making you susceptible to your emotions. When you sleep better, our life's problems will seem a little less stressful than they otherwise would. Fix your sleeping patterns.

  5. Get your early morning sunlight!

  6. If you remember my PR Skin Experience, I enjoyed early morning sunshine therapy :D Sunlight has a beneficial effect on skin disorders. Sunlight penetrates deep into the skin to cleanse the blood and blood vessels and builds the immune system.

  7. Take your vitamins
  8. Enervon Tablet
     If I can't take those fruits and veggies due to availability, I make sure I'm taking multivitamins. Our mom always reminds us to take 1 Enervon tablet after breakfast. We had them prepared with our meals so we'll not forget! Multivitamins will help promote increased energy and enhance the immune system. Aim for the long-term benefits to get the best out of the process.

  9. Choose your easy exercise
  10. I prefer to walk than run - if we're talking about exercise. Choose an exercise that will not feel like exercise at all. Baby steps is a better approach for the body adapts it as a habit. Hopefully by the next month, I can get my own bike.
