Dermax Professional UV Milk Anti Aging Sunscreen

Aug 14, 2015 //
Sun protection is so important to prevent Melanoma. Prevention and protection is key. Sun damage could age us faster because of spots, wrinkles and lines. I thought before that sunscreen and sunblocks are just the same. Sunblock is known as the physical protective lotion that reflects the sun's UV Rays, blocks it from penetrating the skin while Sunscreen is the chemical one as it filters or screens the UV Rays, sunscreen penetrates the skin and absorbs the UVA rays before it can reach our skin's dermal part.

I'm very thankful that during opening of Dermax in Nuvali, I was given a gift certificate for me to try their service/products - since I really like to stock up sunscreens, I choose this Dermax Professional UV Milk Anti-Aging Sunscreen SPF 50 PA+++. [Thank you SkinStation and Dermax!]

Product Claims:
A milky touch formula provides intensive defense against UVA/UVB rays that cause sunburn, cell damage, dryness, roughness and premature signs of aging. Contains Vitamins A (anti-aging), C (lightens the skin) and E (anti-oxidant) to further protect and nourish the skin.
Non-greasy, spreads easily and blends well with makeup. UV Milk provides intensive defense against UVA/UVB rays that cause:
- Sunburn
- Cell damage
- Dryness
- Roughness
- Premature signs of aging
- Discolorations and pigmentation
Directions: Apply evenly on your face, neck and arms before sun exposure. Reapply as needed.
Price: P720 (50 mL)

My thoughts:

  • It goes on easy application
  • Light weight
  • Smells nice
  • Controllable amount of sunscreen since it comes with a pump
  • It's not labelled as water proof nor water resistant so I think I can't use it during some water related events/sports. (Can be washed easily with water)
  • Melts like water (somewhat like La Roche Posay Anthelios 60 Melt-In Sunscreen Milk?)
  • 1-2 pumps can already cover my face (but I often apply more because I feel I like pumping more :p)

    1. Yup! I had to spread it quickly since it's quite runny. :)
