I haven't tried authentic Chinese Cuisine much before. I'm glad I got a chance to try Xilaimen Seafood Restaurant located in Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City. The word 'Xilaimen' was the English translation of the Chinese name which means "Happiness coming to the door". Xilaimen opened last June 19, 2015. You might also notice that they also offer some dishes similar to their sister company, King Bee.
Xilaimen served group meals for 10 pax and let me share to you what we tried.
Cold Cuts Combination
Mixed seafood with Polonchay soup (Php 290)
Fried Lapu Lapu Fillet in Egg White (seasonal price)
Lechon Macau (Php 300)
Pan Fried Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk
Spicy Frog Legs
Yang Chow Fried Rice (Php 220)
Elephant Shell with Broccoli in XO Sauce
Unripe Mango Shake
Sate Fried Crabs with Sotanghon (seasonal price)
Mixed Fruit Platter (Php 280)
Prices are reasonable enough considering they serve fresh seafood dishes, authentic Chinese Cuisine and it's location. I'm quite impressed for my first time in here. I'm willing to try their noodles and dimsums soon!
