Purple Oven - Pastries makes me happy

Aug 6, 2014 //
From July 23 till August 8, I was assigned to one of our client’s main office around Oranbo, Pasig City. I’m lucky enough to pass by Purple Oven after lunch time. I do not know about this bakeshop before - the first time I heard of the place. I was impressed when our client told me that they supply pastries to Starbucks - though I’m not a fan or an avid buyer of Starbucks, I felt giddy when the client told me “they SUPPLY PASTRIES..”

I really love pastries. It makes me happy and suppliers always got lower prices of course.

So I waited few days until I already give in the temptation of going inside Purple Oven.

It was just 2 streets away from the client’s office - it took me less than 10 minutes to go there (I just walk). I saw the wood-designed wall of that branch, and I saw the small bakery.

There’s only 2 tables outside - it’s under a [Mango?] tree.

When I entered the place, their chalkboards got my second attention - since the pastries and cakes got the first.

They have scheduled release of items, so customers would expect that their products are fresh from the oven.

I bought the Revel Bars - It was raining hard that day, and I thought it’s much handy than a cake since it would be difficult for me to carry a cake while holding my bag and umbrella as well.

It might look small when it’s inside the box, but when I took a bite, am I just imagining that it expands? hahaha!

I need to buy again this week, so I could munch something sweet this weekend :)

Must try: Revel Bars, Chocolate Campfire, Chocolate Lava Cake, Grandma’s Chocolate Cake

Purple Oven Branches as of 8/8/2014
