What I think:
I tried to apply it using a foundation brush and my clean fingers, I highly suggest to just use your fingers for efficiency. The creme glides smoothly and it really blends easily over my skin. Make sure to set it with translucent powder to prevent it from looking cake.
It contains water and glycerin to moisturize and silicone mattifiers to reduce shine and diffuse light. The finish resembles somewhere in between Matte and Dewy. Staying power? 7-10 hours for me (I’m working in an air-conditioned office). There’s a possibility that this product can’t withstand the humid conditions of the Philippines, especially summer is almost there.iw-2532014204036318Pros: - Quick and easy to apply - Tiny amount goes a long way - Gives even coverage - Was able to cover my spots - Doesn’t feel heavy on my skin - Feels velvety-soft on your skin - Doesn’t cake - It has a slight scent but not too over-powered - It provides medium to heavy coverage. Cons: - Packaging: Comes in a glass pot - I personally do not like makeup with a glass packaging since I cannot bring it along with me, or I accidentally drop them on the floor :( So these babies just stay at home on a safe place.
Note: I tried the free sample of the whipped creme foundation I received from the BDJ Box Beauty Social. I’m planning to buy a darker shade than I received. The product will be released this coming April 2014 (Max Factor roll out this product since September 2013). This pot is a real winner for me, can’t wait for April to launch it here! :D
